FAQ

How far in advance do I need to book your services?

Services, whether big or small, should all be booked as early in advance as possible. This is because equipment is limited to first booked first served. The sooner you are booked, the sooner you are guaranteed the best rates, and equipment guarantees. As the date gets closer, our equipment may become depleted to other bookings, increasing rates for clients wishing to book last minute.

How many lighting fixtures will I need for my event?

This is a very common question asked by most new prospects. Depending on a very wide range of possibilities, budgets, ideas, and equipment available for your event, will tell exactly how many fixtures are needed to bring the ideas to reality. Our lighting packages are designed with specific numbers of fixtures to make it easy to understand what you are paying for, however, as we recommend, it is not one size fits all. If you don’t choose a lighting package, it is impossible to tell how many lighting instruments are needed to satisfy and exceed your expectations.

How long does set up and tear down take?

Setup and tear down times vary by a large range of variables, some of which include labor, venue location, setup and tear down conditions, equipment being used and so forth. Setup and tear down times will be made available in your quote. It is the obligation of the client to then ensure that these times are provided so that adequate setup and tear down can occur. In no circumstance should a setup time or tear down time be diminished after a quote has been signed stating the times, since this can result in various failures and injuries to our team and your guests.

What colors/types of lighting are available, and can I order a mixture of colors and types of lighting for my event?

Most lighting equipment available is capable of producing over 16 million colors. This mean our lighting fixtures use what is called “color mixing” which enables a vast array of color outputs, complimenting any imaginable theme. Certain fixtures are limited in their color producing ability, and such an example is the MAC 350 Entour, which can produce only a handful of colors. Again, most of our available lighting equipment produces a considerable amount of colors, and achieving the color to compliment the look you are going for won’t be any challenge for these fixtures. Using a fixture like the MAC 350 Entour in combination with fixtures that can produce an immense color palette can create very beautiful looks.
